Featuring: Angel: The Series, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, The X-Files, Get Fuzzy, Eddie Izzard, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter, Harry Potter-related, and stock images.
Additionally: These icons represent my nominally completed icon-making efforts to this point—at least the ones that are fit for human viewing. They were created over a period of roughly three years, although the majority have been finished fairly recently. I do tend to experiment a lot with different solutions, which is why there are alternate versions—sometimes several—to many of the icons.

53 is definitely high on my list of favorites, so I'm very glad you like it. The sassy frog developed pretty much in the order that those icons are displayed. First there was the frog; then there was the frog-with-ribbit, and then I just couldn't stop myself. I thought, what if the frog had attitude? And, well... you see what happened.

(And I kept going back and forth over the Willow quote. "Is it really still the computer age?" "Shut up; of course it is!" "Are you sure?" So I'm glad you enjoy it.)

Aww... I did need you to comment! You're my Guinny, after all, and this is a big deal! I've gotten much better at making icons since those first horrible attempts, at least. And I do find that my arts training helps out sometimes, but then so do variations in Photoshop.

(Honestly, I'll never do a tutorial. I'll just say, "Look. I bought CS2 for Photographers and spent a lot of time saving icon tutorials to my computer. I tried out a few different techniques and found some things that work for me, but mostly I play with adjustment layers and the variations tool. So don't ask how I got this effect, because even though I've saved the .psd file, I don't remember.")

And if you ever have an icon request, I will gladly make it for you. I've even lined up some Eureka screencaps to download, just for you. (And because you need a new header to go with the new layout that I am bound and determined you are going to have. There's nothing to be afraid of, and there are so many gorgeous layouts out there for you to choose from. I'm partial to minty_peach, but that's just me.)
